Rebecca Moses Cancels Milan Runway Show
Milan Fashion Week Spring 2002
By: Heather O'Brian

Sep 19, 2001/ FWD/ --- Following the recent terrorist attacks in the U.S., Milan-based American designer Rebecca Moses has decided to cancel her show scheduled for the upcoming Milan fashion week, her company confirmed today.

The designer’s collection, which had been set to be displayed in a fashion show on September 30, will be on display in her Milan showroom.

The organizers of the Milan fashion week, like those in London and New York, have decided to go ahead with fashion week, explaining that canceling the event would be the equivalent of giving in to terrorists. Milan’s fashion week is set to begin on September 23 and is expected to have an understated tone.
