Kenneth Cole Rocks!
Kenneth Cole Will Hold His Show At The Rockefeller Center for New York Fashion Week Spring 2002
New York Fashion Week Spring 2002
New York, Aug 29, 2001/ FW/ --- Kenneth Cole's choice of venue rocks! And it not far away from his
flagship store at Rockefeller Center.
Models will sashay down a raised 105-foot runway under an impressive 165 clear span tent at Rockefeller
Center's Plaza Street. If you are wondering if it is the home of the famous Christmas tree, the answer is YES!
Plaza Street has also housed car shows and Jeff Koons' Puppy, but this is the first time ever that a fashion show
will be held there.
Kenneth Cole, famous for his clothes and his dedication to charity continue to convey a much larger message
than hemlines each season. His Fall 2001 show was held at the Grand Central Station's Vanderbilt Hall
with a plea for the homeless through HELP USA. This season's cause will be unveiled the morning of the
fashion show.
If you are one of the invited guests, you can enjoy a view of the collection inside the tent. If you just
happen to be in New York, make sure you drop by Rockefeller Center and watch the show from outside the tent.
And if you are not in Manhattan, tune in at NBC's Today Show on September 10 at 9AM. They will broadcast the
show live plus a visit to the backstage.
Make sure that you don't miss Kenneth Cole's signature pre-show video. Last season, it was an animated video
featuring Madonna, Sarah Jessica Parker, Anna Wintour and Kathy Griffin. Kenneth Cole is keeping this season's video
under wraps, but promises that it will be a big "Hit." And if we know Kenneth Cole, be rest assured, it will rock!
