Shape Magazine Roars Into Its 20s

NEW YORK, Sept 1, 2002/ --- SHAPE magazine celebrates its 20th anniversary with its October issue,
due to hit newsstands on September 4. The issue features Victoria's Secret model, Daniela Pestova, on the
cover and takes an inspiring look at the evolution of fitness over the past 20 years.
As the world's largest selling health and fitness magazine, with international editions in countries as far
reaching as the UK, Germany, Hungary, Greece, Poland, Russia and South Africa, SHAPE magazine, for the past
20 years, has inspired women the world over to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.
In this celebratory issue, readers will have an opportunity to look at some of the famous faces that have
graced the covers of SHAPE over the years, including truly inspirational women such as Oprah Winfrey,

on September 21. The event will kick off with a cocktail party and will feature an exhibit of artwork
created by and celebrating women. All art will be available for purchase and the proceeds from the event
will go to breast cancer research.
