E! Entertainment Television Star, Jules Asner, to Wear Signature Anne Bowen Gown Adorned With Hearts On Fire® Diamonds Worth $5,000,000 To The 2002 Academy Awards(R)
LOS ANGELES, Mar 23, 2002/ FW/ --- Jules Asner, star of E! Entertainment Television's "Revealed" and "E! News
Live," will be adorned in head to toe Hearts On Fire® diamonds as she reports
from the red carpet for E!'s "Live Countdown: The 2002 Academy Awards" (LIVE
Sunday, March 24, 12:00 PM EST to 6:00 PM EST) wearing a signature diamond
studded gown designed by Anne Bowen.
The couture masterpiece has been created using 5000 brilliant quarter carat Hearts On Fire®
diamonds, worth over $5,000,000 and has been guarded under an unprecedented level of 24-hour
armed security.
The silk and cotton tulle Anne Bowen gown sparkles with diamonds that
are cascading down the silk iridescent chiffon overlay on the bodice and flares
softly at the bottom with a slit on the center right leg.
Evening wear designer Anne Bowen, who has designed red carpet creations for such high
profile celebrities as, Destiny's Child, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Cindy Crawford, Elizabeth
Hurley, Kim Cattrall, Molly Shannon, Heather Locklear, and Estella Warren, is renowned
for utilizing precious and semi-precious stones to create her one-of-a-kind gowns.
Anne Bowen says, "I've always had a Zen approach to the Oscar dressing process. The gems
used on my gowns emit energy so that the overall feeling the wearer gets is one that will
enhance her inner beauty and confidence on that very important night."
If that's the case, Asner will be a self-assured, raving beauty on Sunday.
On the announcement, Jules Asner commented, "I've been a fan of Anne's designs and am honored
to wear her latest creation."
The dress also comes fully equipped with a service guarantee: 24-hour surveillance and
armed security escorts.
Let's just hope that the entourage of bodyguards that accompanies Asner throughout the
evening's festivities isn't too distracting. After all, she will be reporting live for
E!s "Live Countdown: The 2002 Academy Awards" in the diamond-laden couture masterpiece.
After Asner's debut in the hand-beaded and -sewn gown, it will be auctioned for charity,
with a significant portion of the proceeds benefiting Hollygrove, a Children's Home in Los
Angeles.
