Tommy Hilfiger Allies with Yahoo To Spotlight Emerging Artists

DALLAS, Jun 3, 2003/ FW/ --- Tommy Hilfiger strengthens the tie between fashion and the
music industry with a newly formed alliance with Yahoo's Launch, the web portal's music
destination.
The company announced yesterday that through Tommy Jeans Stage, it will support
a promotional sponsorhip program to spotlight new and emerging artists.
For the whole month of July, Tommy Jeans Stage will have the
branding rights on the Emerging Artist of the Month section of Launch, and enjoy heavy media
rotation throughout the Yahoo! network.
The heart of the promotion will be Tommy Hilfiger's "Fresh For Summer Sweepstakes," wherein
the grand-prize winner will get a trip for four to one of the four selected concert destinations.
The trip includes airfare, transportation, one-night hotel stay at the destination city,
and tickets to the show.
As part of the agreement, Launch has built a custom Internet radio player branded Tommy Jeans
Stage that will feature Tommy Jeans Stage artists who will be on tour
across the nation this summer.
In turn, Tommy Jeans Stage audio advertising will run in LAUNCH's customized
Internet radio service, LAUNCHcast, which streams over 13 million
listener hours per month.
Tommy Jeans Stage is the result of an exclusive name-in-title sponsorship agreement
announced in April between Tommy
Hilfiger U.S.A., Inc. and Clear Channel Entertainment, Inc. to feature
up-and-coming new talent on plaza stages at 10 amphitheaters owned and/or
operated by Clear Channel Entertainment in major U.S. markets
