Jessica Simpson Launches Dessert Beauty
First-ever kissable, Tasteable Fragrance and Body Care Collection By: Heide Winkenwerder

LOS ANGELES, Apr 26, 2004/ FW/ --- It’s for women with discerning tastes… really it is! The Dessert Beauty fragrance and body care collection was designed for women who want to look good, feel good, smell good … and last but not the least, taste good too.

Jessica Simpson, who co-created the line with Randi Shinder of Dlish Fragrance, Inc. said, “Every time Nick would kiss my lips or skin, he would taste my lipstick, body lotion, and perfume -- and hate it. Now, he will only taste the sweet flavors of Juicy, Creamy, Dreamy.”

Simpson, better known as a singer before the MTV’s reality series “Newlyweds” wherein real life husband Nick Lachey and her bared their most precious and private newlywed times with the viewers, had been quoted in tabloids that her “marriage comes first,” an admirable philosophy with a couple who are always in the public eyes.

Considered America’s Sweetheart, the Dallas, TX native will be launching Dessert Beauty in April, initiating a groundbreaking new category in the competitive cosmetic marketplace.

"Dessert embodies a sense of confidence, sexiness, and playfulness that is sure to relate to women everywhere. You'll feel as delicious as you'll smell," commented Simpson in a statement.

Packed with natural oils, esters, and shea butter, the scintillating collection includes: Love Potion Fragrance, Hair and Body Mist, Whipped Body Creams, Sweet Butter Creams, Powdered Sugar Body Shimmers, Blushing Creams, Plumping Lip Fragrance Glosses, Hot Body Toppings, Bath Bubbles, Belly Button Love Potion Fragrances, Sugar Scrubs, Body Glosses, and Body Shakes.

From April to June 2004, Dessert Beauty will be available exclusively online at www.dessertbeauty.com and at Sephora stores nationwide. Outside of the United States, Dessert will be available at Holt Renfrew in Canada, and at www.dessertbeauty.com for international shoppers. The collection with retail between $19-45 USD.
