Dubbed as the ‘sexiest makeup on earth,’ the new signature makeup line from Victoria’s Secret has already gained the status of a cult product even before it hit store shelves nationwide.

During the pre-launch, Victoria's Secret Angels Heidi Klum, Karolina Kurkova, Alessandra Ambrosio, Izabel Goulart and Selita Ebanks made an appearance on July 31st at the Victoria's Secret Store at Los Angeles' The Grove to unveil the new Very Sexy Makeup campaign and sign autographs.

With lines wrapped around the shopping complex, over 1000 fashion-forward fans arrived to meet the VS Angels and purchase Very Sexy Makeup ahead of rest of the nation.

Sales dramatically exceeded expectations, reaching almost two weeks of expected sales in one day. By 2 PM, the Supermodels' coveted shades -- Wet lip gloss, Beg Me lipstick, and Fierce eye shadow -- completely sold out, followed by numerous shades by the store's closing time.

As a result, an emergency order of Very Sexy Makeup was air shipped to the Los Angeles area to cover the demand for the hottest makeup launch of the year.

The Very Sexy day continued at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel at nightfall. Story-high lipstick kisses from the Victoria's Secret Angels were hung on the side of the building, stopping traffic on Hollywood Boulevard.

Following a VIP dinner hosted by the Angels at the hotel penthouse, the sexiest men and women in Los Angeles assembled poolside at the Tropicana Bar. Among the Very Sexy makeover stations and behind the scenes images of the Very Sexy Makeup campaign were celebrity partygoers Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, Nicky Hilton, Jeremy Piven, Kevin Connolly, Rachel Zoe, Maria Menounos, Alyssa Milano, Elisha Cuthbert, Elizabeth Banks, Amaury Nolasco, Corri English, and JC Chasez.

With sold-out status prior to the launch party, guests at the Tropicana Bar were thrilled to fill their Very Sexy Makeup fix with gift bags stuffed with the sold out shades. Some guests went so far as to swipe products from all of the makeover stations and products in the venue's bathrooms!
