DALLAS, May 31, 2007/ FW/ --- Introduced in 1949 by Dana Classic Fragrances, English Leather has become an iconic American scent for men due to its longevity in the market.
Suggested for casual wear, the original English Leather is found to be arid, woody sharp fragrance that blends masculine notes of moss, leather, woods and citrus.
A few years shy of its 60th anniversary, Dana Classic Fragrances introduces English Leather Black, the first new scent from the classic American perfume. Bold and distinctive, English Leather features base notes of musk and sandalwood, combined with top notes of bergamot and coriander to create a mysterious and masculine cologne.
Describing the new scent as a ‘young and exciting scent,’ Barbara Eden, Vice President of Marketing, Dana Classic Fragrances says that ‘[it] will expand the heritage of English Leather into the 21st century.
“On trend, yet reasonably priced, it is the ultimate fragrance of masculinity and style,” Eden added.
English Leather Black (SRP $15.75/3.4oz) is available at major drugstores, mid-priced department stores, and mass-market retailers.
