LOS ANGELES, Apr 2, 2007/ FW/ --- ‘Live Your Passion ... Be a Star for a Day,’ an exciting sweepstakes contest sponsored by Elizabeth Taylor’s Passion fragrance and NBC Daytime drama ‘Passions’ will give the Grand Prize winner a trip for two to Hollywood and a walk-on role on the Passions TV show.
The sweepstakes will run from April 2nd to June 29th with the winner being announced in July. Runner up prizes of posters autographed by Elizabeth Taylor and Passion fragrance will also be awarded.
Launched in 1987, Elizabeth Taylor’s Passion is the first fragrance launched by the legendary film star. Always ahead of her time, Elizabeth Taylor started the celebrity fragrance trend and the House of Taylor fragrance portfolio remains one of the most successful to date consisting of eleven fragrance brands.
"It has a scent of mystery, it's slightly elusive, kind of smoky and sweet. There's ylang-ylang in it which gives it a wonderful kind of tangy, crisp freshness ... and lilies of the valley ... brides use it in their bouquets ... that's probably why I'm so attached to it," commented Ms. Taylor about Passion.

For Spring 2007 the Passion fragrance will be re-launched with advertising support via a new image. The new ad is an image of Elizabeth Taylor from the classic movie Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. The image depicts the brand positioning of sensuality, romance and allure. Advertising is planned for selected print and internet sites.
