AF Vandevorst DALLAS, Oct 13, 2002/ FW/ --- Design duo AF Vandevorst studied at the Flanders Fashion Institute in Antwerp, known for nurturing the most creative minds in fashion.

For Spring 2002 collection that was shown in Paris, their alma mater would be more than proud.

Using elements from the traditional Japanese kimono, the designers came out with a an avant-garde version that can be worn without looking like you are going to a formal tea ceremony.

There are other memorable pieces like the black ankle-length dress paired with knee-length jacket, something that can be worn in the city during those cool spring afternoons and nights.
