Alessandro Dell'Acqua: Great Accessories Always Make An Outfit

MILAN, Jun 29, 2004/ FW/ --- When in doubt always over accessorize because that is the key to an overall look.

Giving us a definite 1950’s feel, Alessandro Dell’Acqua exploded with great vintage silhouettes for the summer of 2005.

An extremely fitted leopard print sweater in purple opened the show. Playing with a basic leopard print in many different colours gave life and vitality to the line. Tailored looks dashed all along the runway from head to toe in vintage prints in tan, brown, purple, cream, white, black, navy and light blue.

Extremely fitted trousers and jeans were very representative of Dell’Acqua’s inspiration of the good ole days at the soda fountain.

Tailored leather bombers gave way to low cut v-neck shirts and sweaters. With models being super thin wearing a fierce side swoop coifure; aviators glasses were not a choice, but a definite to do.

Simple lines in the outfits were enhanced with other great accessories including glittering belts, handbags and sleek trainers with gold and silver highlights of color.

Showing hairless boyish legs, in denim rolled up shorts (the male daisy duke short to say the least) and vintage printed bikini bottoms raised the temperature of the room a couple more degrees as the show came to its final destination.
