DALLAS & MILAN, Jul 28, 2005/ FW/ --- Antonio Berardi is on the move and Paris & New York are in his itinerary. The Italian-English designer recently announced that he will be showing in Paris his Spring 2006 collection and has signed an agreement with Niccolo Showroom to distribute his eponymous label in the U.S.
Berardi whose Fall 2005 collection was previewed in Milan last March received rave reviews from the fashion press.
With a theme about the joining of the continental U.S. circa 1840s as the transcontinental railway was completed, Berardi has already reached out to America via his imagination. So, it is fitting that on August 3, the 120 piece women’s collection be available in New York’s Niccolo Showroom.
Founded in 2003 by Niccolo’ Carpani Glisenti, the 3,750 square foot showroom specializes in high-end emerging designer collections, and located at 499 Seventh Avenue at 37th Street in Manhattan.
In another development, Antonio Berardi had announced that he will be showing in Paris instead of Milan this coming October.
Although the official calendar for the Spring / Summer 2006 Prêt-a-Porter season, Berardi had already announced that he is scheduled to show during the last day.
