MILAN, Jun 26, 2003 /FW/ --- Biagiotti goes space age and weightless, mixing and
matching in her search for a contemporary man who can assume an
astronaunt appearance even in the metropolis for spring summer 2004.
Walking on a glittery bed of salt, the sunrises in the background and
while dawn breaks, pop stripes in orange, yellow and turquiose tops,
oversize cardigans and boatneck sweaters are worn with baggy pants that
can hang loose over flip flips or be tucked into white or silver moon
wrestling boots.
Shorts, or 'cosmo-pants' have double zippers in the front, while there
is still a military hint with pockets, even though diagonal, riding up
the sides of pants.
Darts and pleats add neatness and a twist as they
extend from pockets and the rear.
Silver braiding and trim are added to knit cotton cord vests and V neck
sweaters, tuxedo jackets are reinterpreted with the addition of top
pockets in bush jacket style.
Three pockets are present on jackets in
an aymmetrical line representing the future, also for the double
breasted caban worn over shorts.
Jumpsuits in both short and long legged versions range from silk to
lurex nappa, the pinstripe is pumped up through the addition of lichen
stripes and moon craters are portable through the printing of fabric.
In a new glamorous dimension, the start trek man can go walking on the
moon and still be fashionable oscilating between chic materials and
sporty details.
