Comme Des Garcons: Masks & Dots

Jan 3, 2001/ FW/ --- The Spring 2002 collection by Rei Kawakubo reminded me of a very formal
Mardi Gras with glamourous clowns.
I think it's the dots and the wide pants! Or maybe it was the masks. Nevertheless, there
were some very memorable pieces and they were not the polka dotted variety.
Fluid skirts and/or skorts, sheer transparent sleeves and sexy tops were worn by models
wearing masks, giving the show a festive feel.
