A Durango, Mexico native who arrived in Los Angeles via Illinois, Eduardo Lucero launched his womenswear collection in 1999.

Vivid colors, a definitive romantic flair and curvaceous shapes are all products of his rich cultural background, while his classic cuts and distinctive talent for reinventing the classics are truly all American.

"For me, its the combination of what is positive in both cultures that has formed my design sensibility," quotes the designer.

"My main concern is accenting a woman's best features. That begins with a great cut and fit that flatters her curves. In Latin America, a small waist, shapely hips and a nice bust line are treasured. I enjoy framing those gifts," explained Eduardo Lucero on his design philosophy.

A true renaissance man, Eduardo Lucero was an instructor at Otis/Parsons, a graphic designer, fashion photographer, film costume designer and fashion illustrator before he launched his own label.

Whether its Hollywood celebrities or any woman wanting the perfect outfit for a special event, Eduardo Lucero understands her needs.

"In order to dress a woman, you must understand her sensibilities, strengths and aspirations," comments the designer.
