PARIS, Jul 5, 2005/ FW/ --- There’s a new name on the Paris Menswear calendar and it is José Lévy signing his second collection for Emanuel Ungaro Menswear.
A major player in the Parisian menswear scene since 1990, José Lévy presented his first collection for the house in January 2005 for a small select group. But today, at the Hotel Intercontinental, the award-winning designer made a big splash among press and buyers.
Coming on board in 2004 via Marchpole Holdings Plc, licensee for Emanuel Ungaro Menswear Ready-to-Wear, José Lévy is at the creative helm of the two Emanuel Ungaro men’s labels: Emanuel Ungaro and Ungaro.
A veteran of Cacharel and Ricci Menswear, Jose Levy brought to Ungaro over a decade of experience and recognition. His simple and precise cuts, and slightly unconventional silhouettes translate into an easy seductive style.
His play of colors, opposing bias cuts, his bags and elegant suits are distinct signatures.
