LOS ANGELES, Nov 1, 2003/ FW/ --- “I feel that the Frankie B woman should dress in a fun way, mixing lots of colors, styles and textures,” Frankie B designer Daniella Clarke told 7th on Sixth.

For Spring 2004, the Frankie B woman will do just that, wearing a fresh and modern look, as shown last Wednesday at The University in Los Angeles.

The show opened with all the spotlights turned off and a drummer in glitter make-up thumping a drum.

He was then followed with a parade of super-sexy models wearing Frankie B’s signature low-rise jeans, which have been slung seductively low around everyone from the curvilinear J. Lo to the stick-thin Christina Aguilera.

The look is sensuous from the opening garment of chevron print silk chiffon v-neck long sleeve top and cream cord short with orange piping to the finale of white patent leather coat with pink piping.

Daniella Clarke also sent models in slouchy pink metallic boots worn with skirts, jeans and shorts.

Micro-minis and uneven hemlines were the flavor of the day when it came to skirts and dresses. Wispy tops and sheer tees completed the looks. Worn with skirts or jeans, the Frankie B woman will surely turn heads come springtime.

For eye-candy and to break the cavalcade of the pretty hot and tempting women, three male models walked the runway.

Whether they are harbingers of things to come, that is, Daniella Clarke branching out to menswear is still a mystery.

Last March 2002, Frankie B introduced its swimwear line, which is already available nationwide from LA’s Fred Segal to New York’s Henri Bendel.

So, don’t be surprised if Frankie B Homme enters the fashion scene next year.

Daniella Clarke is on a roll, and there is nothing to stop the L.A. fashion power house to continue expanding her line.
