LONDON, Feb 18, 2005/ FW/ --- Up to their usual style, Sadie Frost and Jemima French showed a collection that is so fitting for their celeb clientele.
Always noted as one of the most happening shows during LFW, there after parties are often the most desired perk to going to the show.
What other design duo should coin this season’s runway trend of knicker calf cut trousers styled with a brown ankle stiletto boot.
All of the Girly Girls will be seen in these with their matching tailored faux fur trimmed breast coats.
Some other mentionable items were tiger printed sweaters and large crocheted jacket sweaters. I was not fond of their chiffon skirts or dresses in a haunting tan and brown circular motif.
Their combed velvet dresses caught more of one of my eyes in rose and mink black. Fortunately colour was kept to a minimum.
The main accessory, their head dresses, are reminiscent of their fellow neighbor Phillip Treacy.
Even though these pieces were probably extra dramatics for the show, it was some of the most creative items that I have seen from them.
Still a growing label that has a good London backing, Frost French will continue to rock on….
