DALLAS, Apr 1, 2005/ FW/ --- Gianfranco Ferré once said, ‘beauty is often an attribute of functionality.’ With his soon-to-be released GF Ferré watch at Baselworld 2005, he made those words into reality.

With a futuristic look bordering on sci-fi, time is told in a 3-D mode with steel and crystal sculptured in bombé shape.

And like as always where Gianfranco Ferré takes everything at least a notch higher, the futuristic aspect turned to reality with the telescopic lens mode and the sci-fi console control mode.

And just for fun, the men’s version of the watch also has a playful tone to it, thanks to emphatic particulars such as crowns, screws, even cases (thick yet light steel/crystal layers) and buttons!

The women’s models come more glamorous though. With its matte-finish steel bracelets, often studded with colorful rhinestones, its treatment becomes functional jewelry.

So, don’t be surprised if you see Angelina Jolie, which by the way had just been voted the sexiest single mom in Hollywood, sporting the GF Ferré chronograph in the next installment of Lara Croft.

The watch is strong enough to withstand Lara Croft’s daredevil life as the chronograph as a scratchproof mineral glass face ensuring impermeability up to five atmospheres.

The best thing about it, you don’t need to be Lara Croft to own one, as the GF Ferré watch will hit stores soon!
