MILAN, Oct 1, 2004/ FW/ --- As the sounds of a jet landing, a jet-setting model struts the runway in a desert print trench coat with matching carry on luggage.
This collection was all about draping and accessories. Wide brim floppy sun hats set off chocolate dresses and light sweaters.
Diamond studded eyewear complemented by silver lame threaded swimsuits and tops. Splashes of wild sequins were thrown in throughout the collection for pizzazz.
Breathable yet fashionable fabrics were on sundresses. Belts adorned sweaters and coats to give a fully styled look.
The Sahara is so hot that only sandals will be fitting for the sand. Chiffon floor length skirts in cream and white paired with linen buttoned shirts will be functional and cool. The color palate was a direct replica of a horizon of orange, blue and brown.
One-piece bathing suits were tastefully worn by sun kissed models. Large African beads and beach bags was teamed with many of the looks.
As her men's SS 05 collection celebrated the Olympic rings, Biagiotti stepped out with one of the Italian gold medalist from Athens.
The dessert will never probably has never been so fashionable as Laura Biagiotti has made it.
