MILAN, Dec 21, 2003 – She is soft, she is natural, and she is elegant. Graceful her movements as the wardrobe Setaichiro proposes for sping summer 2004 fall upon her delicately.
Simple lines in his search for the relaxed modern woman, Seta Ichiro’s silhouette is soft and flowing.
Unfinished edges are contrasted against the use of crystals, playing off sparkle and essentials.
Drapes, gathering, darts, layering and slight transparency is all part of showing the feminine inside the woman, and there is no tight and rigid pieces in her closet.
Even the use of leather is sensitive. It has been stoned washed repeatively in order to appear elementary and natural.
The colour palette is made up of off whites, beige and black with hints of multi colours as printed floral using Japanese techniques.
Dresses have low waistbands, fishtails and bows hinting ever so slighly at the 1920’s in the search for inner light.
This woman in her easy everyday look is comfortable, but no ordinary person, just the oposite. She has found freedom with her mind, body and soul alligned in the inner search for happiness and strength.
