MILAN, Sep 28, 2004/ FW/ ---- Seta Ichiro presented a nostalgic, romantic collection for spring-summer 2005.
As birds chirped with delicate voices, delicate cotton fabric garments in nude colours graced the runway. Lace edging and dark hair with moonlight eyes were reminiscent of the good ole days.
Unfinished belled hems and sleeves gave a very playful and fun touch to the clothing. Oversized and long blouses accompanied cropped pants and culottes in denim.
Hints of colour added warmth to the collection in aqua and orange. Marble patterns added a sweetness to the clothes. Polka dots and striped halter dresses in cupra and silk were key items of the collection.
Crocheted shawls and pedal pushers gave hints of femininity as well as bold frills and ruffles. The use of gathering in pants gave comfort with a modern twist.
The re-worked vintage forms were elegant in silhouette and style. This collection is cherished for its natural beauty and innocence.
