MILAN, Mar 9, 2005/ FW/ – Dramatically romantic and full of intensity, Seta Ichiro for fall winter 2005/06 delivers a collection of ‘innocent minds’ and sweet femininity.
Soft and delicate, yet strikingly decisive, sticking to his trademark of vintage inspired past times looks, the Japanese designer delivers perfect pleats and voluminous swelling enriched with stitched detail and sartorial attention.
Contrasting between black and white on a faux fur runway, models walked in soft sweetness oozing from silk chiffon, invidious knitwear with unfinished edging, asymmetrical perfection and embroided floral as decoration.
With influences hinting at other lands, ethnicity becomes almost pleasantly comical in its transformation and migration to a tight and well-put together collection.
Military hints are mixed with mini bolero jackets, bows are tied at the end of drawstrings and transparency adds a taste of sensuality to Ichiro’s neat singular world.
With hair in winding plaits, angelic faces fade dreamily in high collars and tender stripes and patterns, without forgetting the mysterious needs of contemporary femininity.
Peaceful in its appearance, the Seta Ichiro collection is one of timeless beauty and feminine essence with the right mix of masculine rigidity and the joyful eclectic.
