Stella McCartney PARIS, Oct 8, 2004/ FW/– With femme friend Gwyneth Paltrow, numerous executives from PPR and Adidas front row, Stella McCartney couldn’t go wrong yesterday morning for her latest show, the presentation of her spring summer 2005 collection.

As big name for the day on the Parisian printemps calendar, she is an exciting new media marketer, knowing her critics and yesterday looking like nothing could remotely bother her, after all, she is about to become a mother.

McCartney brings beach freedom to the metropolis with her romantic looks in a cool color palette of button dresses, oversized men’s shirts and light dresses complete with ruffles and lace inserts.

Vintage hints and a late 70’s mood were the designer’s saving grace as she has come full circle in creating her own style, where the women that choose to wear her always feel comfortable in a hippy chic gorgeous kind of way.

McCartney knows how to easily blend both male and female tailoring skills, like the oversized button up shirts, vests and mini tux jackets put together with flowing, knotted and rolled hemmed looks.

Tailored pants fall straight and wide, contrasting ironically from the ultra high and sexy Brazilian cut skimpy bathing costumes Stella proposes for next summer that are sure to leave curious tan marks, designer non the less.

Sack dresses and drawstring detail, chopped and reworked trench coats, and lots of layering are all part of the look matched lovingly with sure to become cult must have espadrilles.

Pretty prints both floral and graphic dance on loose fabric, leaving one only but congratulations for the glowing mum to be, perhaps creating a collection in her own light for both comfort and upbringing, but whatever her reasons, this is a collection that will keep McCartney on the fashion map and her consumers smiling all the way to next summer.
