A Country of Contrasts
Andorra is a country of contrasts. Some call the shopping area down town a hellhole,
with the noise and congestion. Of course the people who love to shop call it heaven.
There is an obvious contrast between commerce and the natural beauty of the majestic
mountains. Hopefully they don’t over build and lose the beauty that has remained pristine
for so many centuries.
On a positive note there is something for everyone. If you want to party hard in the pubs
and clubs at night you can go ‘til dawn.
In the winter if you love to ski, the slopes are a blast. In the summer there is fantastic
hiking. If you love fashion this is a place to shop ‘til you drop. If dining is your pleasure
there are many hidden treasures of restaurants to be found.
Plus it’s a great place to quietly chill out and get caught in a rainstorm before rushing
indoors to sit by a crackling fire.
A Room With a View
Looking from my office window I have a view of a mountain covered with beautiful forest
trees. Listening to the stream below as I look from my room with a view I know I am
in Shangri-La.
