Waterside Shops at Pelican Bay Adds Louis Vuitton, Cartier and Lacoste On Its Line Up of Luxury Stores

LOS ANGELES, Mar 28, 2005/ FW/ --- Luxury retailing continues its growth in Florida as Louis Vuitton, Cartier and Lacoste joins an already impressive list of world-class retailers at the Waterside Shops at Pelican Bay.
The Forbes Company, Waterside Shops managing partner working with Taubman Center announced last week that the abovementioned brands would be part of the transformation of Waterside Shops to Naples' luxury shopping destination.
"The demand for luxury merchandise in Southwest Florida continues to grow," said Nathan Forbes in a statement.
To meet this demand, the mall, which is undergoing renovation and retrofit are bringing the finest selection of retailers and restaurants to satisfy the desires of the sophisticated Naples, FL customer, where Waterside Shops at Pelican Bay is located.
These new retailers will join the unique collection of stores, previously announced by Forbes, including; Hermes, Burberry, Gucci, Tiffany & Co., Christofle, Anthropologie, Brooks Brothers, Coach, BCBG, Tumi, Anne Fontaine, and J. Jill.
Additionally, The Forbes Company's merchandising strategy is to expand and renovate the existing proven concepts that have been a part of Waterside's successful past.
Existing stores that will expand, remodel, or relocate include Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Ann Taylor, Cache, Lillie Rubin, Talbots, Crabtree & Evelyn, GAP, Chico's, The Beach House of Naples, Chicago Eyewear and Casall of Sweden.
Waterside Shops will remain open during its renovation with new dining and additional specialty boutiques being announced and opening throughout the year. The center is scheduled to be completed later this year.
