Brooks Brothers LOS ANGELES, Jun 1, 2007/ FW/ --- Still thinking of what to give Dad for Father’s Day? Check out Brooks Brothers two-ply cotton, no-iron dress shirt, which is wrinkle resistant and machine-washable.

Named ‘Best Dress Shirt’ for 2007 by the New York Magazine, the Brooks Brothers’ no-iron dress shirt has been incorporated with Dow XLA™ stretch fabric that allows the shirt to remain wrinkle-free after hours of wear.

Since it’s machine washable, it also saves on cost of dry cleaning. But, the best thing about it, there is no need to iron, which also translates on savings on electricity cost.

"We are thrilled with the advancements in men's shirting and will continue to develop new solutions for the textile industry. Dow XLA(TM) fiber is impacting the way consumers care for their clothing, giving new meaning to the term 'easy-care,'" says Akiko Inui, Global Brand Marketing Manager of Dow XLA(TM).

Brooks Brothers was among the first U.S. retailer to use Dow XLA(TM). This adoption of the fiber led to the release of the first women's fitted shirt followed by the first no-iron stretch shirt for men ($89.50 for men's and $79.50 women's).
