PARIS, May 15, 2007/ FW/ --- Windows that reach the ceiling, the rooms bathe in natural lighting, inviting sofas in streamlined shape and rows of dress forms wearing the current Elie Saab ready-to-wear collection, the Elie Saab newly opened flagship boutique in Paris epitomizes modernist aesthetics.
‘I wanted it to feel like a glamorous gallery of women’s apparel,’ commented Elie Saab about his new Paris location and the novel way he chose to showcase ready-to-wear.
There are no hangers and no folded merchandise. The pigeonholes on the wall and square posts display one bag or one pair of shoes. The back stock is literally ‘at the back’ and nowhere to be seen. An assistant will bring your choices to you in the fitting room.
Designed by internationally recognized architect, Chakib Richani, the three level store resembles a modern day palace with its wide corridors and cul-de-sac for privacy and tęte-ŕ-tęte.
With its very modern interiors also comes serenity, a quiet world ready to accept the princess that lives within us and find the glamour and sophistication that Elie Saab offers.
