Jean-Paul Gaultier: Magical & Innovative
DALLAS, Jun 11, 2004/ FW/ --- Since the retirement of Yves Saint Laurent, early in 2002, Jean-Paul Gaultier has
been recognized by many as today's most prominent French designer.
Once known as the bad boy of fashion, an Enfant Terrible whose androgynous look exuded
a bizarre and, at times, shocking sexuality, Gaultier also understands the quintessence
of French couture.
The Jean Paul Gaultier boutique at Madison Avenue that opened in 2002 is the prototype of
20 boutiques planned worldwide. Today, there are 9 free-standing boutiques and four
"corner" stores worldwide.
Below are the store windows at the Madison Avenue location. It mirrors and reflect the
magic and innovation of Jean Paul Gaultier.
