Tiffany & Co. NEW YORK, Feb 6, 2005/ FW/ --- With soft music on the background playing ‘Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend,’ and ‘Material Girl,’ Tiffany & Co. unveiled its new collection of fine jewelry today at the company’s corporate headquarters at Fifth Avenue.

All the models were wearing identical white gowns devoid of embellishments because as the saying goods, ‘when you are wearing beautiful jewelry, you don’t need anything else.’

The star of the show… a 41-carat pear shape diamond drop necklace. The tag price of this showstopper – a whooping $2.5 million!

And that is just for starters, as Tiffany, the premier American jeweler takes diamonds into a higher level of glamour and fashion as the stones flash and glitter in feminine pendants and layered strands, accented with colored gemstones and lustrous pearls.

Below are descriptions of Tiffany’s latest fine jewelry collection shown during the presentation.

Baroque Pearl Pendant: Tiffany diamonds, the world’s finest, demonstrate their incomparable quality in a dramatic-drop pendant in platinum, with baroque South Sea pearl. The ultra feminine design brings fresh energy to fashion and glamour.

Diamond Necklace Varying Lengths: Tiffany layers on fashion with easy elegance: ultra fine platinum necklaces in lengths of 16, 18, 24 and 30 inches are fired with round and marquise diamonds that lightly accent looks from casual to high-fashion silhouettes.

Picasso Hammered Planets: Paloma Picasso goes beyond earthly inspirations with the Hammered Planets necklace, a constellation of molten spheres lavishly scaled in eighteen-karat gold. The boldly original, 32-inch necklace glows with ultimate glamour and endless ease.

Square Cut Diamond Pendant: With a fresh spin on an unparalleled diamond legacy, Tiffany fashions a 4.02-carat square emerald cut diamond in a platinum necklace with round brilliant diamonds and baguettes. The design showcases the extraordinary cut, color and clarity of Tiffany diamonds.

Tassel Pendant: (top photo) A moving picture of Tiffany craftsmanship: an elongated tassel pendant from the Tiffany Legacy collection. Designed with 118 rose-cut diamonds accented with round diamonds in platinum, the versatile jewel swings, as easily as flared silk skirts and sheer, slip-into dresses caught in the breeze.
