PARIS, May 6, 2012/ — ELIE SAAB will open its first store in the Americas: a shop-in-shop at Saks Fifth Avenue, Santa Fe, in Mexico City, Mexico. The boutique will be located on the 1st floor of SAKS Santa Fe in the Women’s wear department.

The store will showcase the elegant ready-to-wear designs that ELIE SAAB is renowned for: evening gowns, day dresses, shoes, bags and other accessories from the Pre-fall 2012 collection.

ELIE SAAB’s unique designs have long attracted an international clientele, including royals and celebrities. ELIE SAAB’s planned global expansion and opening of stores in major cities around the world has been essential to meet the increased demand for the brand.

With boutiques currently in Beirut, Paris, London, Dubai, Hong Kong and now Mexico City, it is the Group’s strategy to expand its worldwide retail presence, with other new boutiques openings in major cities before the end of 2012.
The main design characteristics that are currently present in the existing ELIE SAAB boutiques will be maintained in the interior of Mexico City’s boutique: travertine stone, wood, leather furniture and lighting, to create a distinctive and luxurious shopping experience.

Elie Saab, the designer, who also has a passion for architecture and interior design, drew on the best of his creative sensibilities, to personally reflect the ELIE SAAB signature: fusion of simplicity, luxury and modernism.
