Stella McCartney Now Officially Part Of The Gucci Group
Apr 9, 2001/ FW/ --- Two official announcements yesterday confirmed that Stella McCartney
has left Chloé and will be establishing her own label under the Gucci Group banner.
In a release by the Gucci Group, the company confirmed that the daughter of former
Beatle Paul McCartney will be launching her own label under the auspices of the Gucci
Group.
In another release, this time by the House of Chloé, it was announced that Philo Phoebe
is the new chief designer of the label.
In the Gucci announcement, Stella McCartney commented about her new endevour.
"I am incredibly excited about the decision to launch my own label. In Gucci Group, I have
found a partner with the skills necessary to make this business a success.
"I have always wanted to start my own label and I feel ready for the challenge.
