Dylan & Dillion LOS ANGELES, Oct 29, 2005/ FW/ --- It’s the story of two sisters, Lindsey and Kristen, who as little girls played ‘store’ and as adults decided to live out their dream and launched Dylan & Dillion, a handbag and tees collection based on the original carvings of Lindsey, who is also the Creative Director of the brand.

Launched in Fall 2004, the label started as a line of clutch bags in bright backgrounds screen-printed with floral prints. It was such a hit, that the line expanded to t-shirts and tank tops, again with Dylan & Dillion’s signature floral prints. And for Spring 2006, the baby line has been added.

Unlike the conventional prints on t-shirts wherein it is only either at the front or at the back, Dylan & Dillion puts prints also on the side.

Dylan & Dillion Showing a baby onesie, Kristen Bradley, the ‘business’ sister, explained, ‘Mothers usually hold their baby facing her, and while doing so, also hides the design. Putting in on the side, the print can be seen easily, instead of being concealed.

Cute as the baby collection is, it’s the adult tees and handbags that truly stand out. Using magnolias and orchids as the main design, Dylan & Dillion’s very clean aesthetics is eye-catching and original.

Put on a solid background, the prints look like lithographs, giving it a vintage feel. Paired with jeans or boy shorts, also by Dylan & Dillion, it’s a fashion statement that defies trends. In short, it can be part of your year round wardrobe!
