DALLAS, Aug 7, 2005/ FW/ --- With names like the Klimt Cuff and Sedona Ring, it is apparent that jewelry designer Leah Gormly has eclectic influences for her designs.
The Klimt Cuff (see photo at left) was inspired by the paintings of Austrian artist Gustav Klimt known for their decorative sensuousness.
Interpreted as a sterling silver bracelet, with varying textures and irregular cutouts, the Klim Cuff is a bold statement-making piece that is both strong and feminine.
The Sedona Ring was inspired by Gormly’s many visits to Sedona, Arizona. Set in both sterling silver and 18 karat gold, the Sedona Ring brings to life the rich mountainous textures of Sedona.
There is something for everyone from the LMG&Co. jewelry collection. There are the long dangling Organic Hoops earrings that are about 2 inches in length. (See photo below). Small delicate Organic Circles with 3 pt. black diamond are set in each circle.
Very sexy and classic, the Organic Hoops earrings can be worn everyday or for special occasions.
The Wavy Link necklaces, bracelets and earrings are for individualists who want to be different. These designs that come together in freeform links, irregular in shape that evolve into intricate, elegant pieces are sure conversations pieces.
The LMG&Co. collection is sold in several stores throughout the country, including The Garden Room in Austin, Jacqueline Jarrot in Los Angeles, Keil & Co. in Overland Park, Kansas, and Fringe in Gulfport, Mississippi.
