MILAN, Jun 29, 2006/ FW/ --- Inspired by an imaginary journey from Italy’s Positano to Mexico and back, the GF Ferré’s children’s shoe assortment is a perfect complement to the Spring/ Summer 2007 Children’s collection.
Distinguished by the unmistakable mark of comfort and practical performance, innovation and quality, they also bear the unmistakable mark of Andrea Montelpare’s incomparable know how.
Unveiled last week in Pitti, the GF Ferré’s shoes echoes the playful mood of the children’s clothing. The GF Ferré logo emblazoned on the sides gives it a serigraphic effect while adding a sportive appeal.
The sporty and lace-up models are joined by a super-practical series that features a strap fastening system. And with light rubber soles, comfort and ease of wear is achieved.
The boy’s sandals can be either completely or partially open. And there is customization work everywhere: bold stitching in contrasting colors, silk-screened effects, ribbons and embroidery work in natural hues or in white with dashes of pastel shades like pale green, sky-blue, pale blue and melon pink.
The girl’s selection also features several sporty models that coexist right alongside of white flats, sandals and “glamorous” open slippers adorned with beads, rhinestones, bows and sequined embroidery. The calfskin is sometimes creased giving a “well worn” aspect.
