DALLAS, Apr 4, 2007/ --- In the movie ‘The Devil Wears Prada’, Nigel played by Stanley Tucci, the Creative Director of Runway magazine told Andrea Sachs, ‘fashion sells a dream.’ True as the statement is, Joy Teiken adds another message, ‘to capture and express women’s individual beauty.’
Designing under the label Joynoelle, Minneapolis-based designed Teiken launched Joynolle in 2000, taking inspiration from unique fabrics and the women who wear them.
Creating one-of-a-kind and limited edition coats, dresses, gowns and handbags, Teiken immediately developed a cult following and then slowly migrated into a wider market.
On April 26, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at 725 Washington Street (btw 11th and Bank) in New York’s West Village, Joynoelle is holding a trunk show. Teiken will be there to meet with the clients.
Attendees can choose their own fabric and style to be created in to a custom-made dress or coat.
