B Michael: ‘The Temptress’

NEW YORK, Feb 9, 2005 / FW -- A power broker by day and a seductive siren at night, the B Michael lady will be wearing classic looks with a dramatic flair come fall.

With a total of 24 exits, the designer presented day clothes in double-faced cashmeres and luxurious wool's with touches of sable and other extravagant furs.

The first exit shown was a stroller coat in brown heather double-faced cashmere over high waist full leg trouser in black pin stripe fine wool.

For the cocktail and the evening hours, sheer sophistication and classic styling.

The open neck ostrich feather embroidered top in khaki double faced silk chiffon over narrow skirt in foliage mattlasse is right on the money.

But the seamed corset gown with web train in black double-faced silk/wool zibeline could not be surpassed.

And the drama continued with the last 4 pieces shown with Marsha Thompson (from the opera Adriana Lecouvrear and Tosca) came out to sing to b Michael's muses as they started with the ball gowns.

One to look out for is the renaissance inspired gown in tarnished copper double faced silk satin.

The Finale, a strapless embroidered bodice full sweep gown with ostrich embroidered back overlay pearl double-faced silk satin with matching head wear also embellished with ample ostrich embroidery.
