B Michael NEW YORK, Sep 15, 2004/ FW -- Pure and clean "Advanced American Style" is what b Michael offers with his "Brilliantly Chic" Spring 2005 collection that had 18 exits.

As it always has been in fashion and again reiterated by the designer, having or wearing the right accessories is what one needs to balance the subtleties of an ensemble. With the right hand bag, a pair of gloves, an elegant wide brim hat, or the beautiful jewelry of Van Cleef & Arpels can enhance and create that perfect chic touch.

Simple but sophisticated and elegant has always been b Michael's style. He has been recognized as one of the leading couture and accessories designers in New York. And rightfully so since he showed everyone why he gained that notoriety during his Spring 2005 show.

Why not have style and elegance while enjoying a power lunch in a 2-piece cornflower yellow double-faced wool crepe suit. Under your wide brimmed hat, with a yellow diamond camellia broach on your jacket, which was b Michael’s opener. This was one of the six pieces for his daywear.

Wondering what to wear to a cocktail party or a formal dinner? How about b Michael's flouncey bronze double faced silk wool corset dress, accessorized by a very delicate diamond flowers set on white gold that helps to complement this piece beautifully.

And walk in style to a gala in a b Michael petal and black corset with tulle trumpet double-faced silk wool & tulle with scalloped detailing.

But as always, the best was saved for the finale. b Michael's "fantasy" piece is a pearl ballet gown, hand draped with miles of tulle, double faced silk wool. And instead of netting that falls down on your face, how about a very elegant crownlike shape of diamond flowers on white gold, which was presented in a much-deserved dramatic manner.

b Michael received a very warm reception as the audience applauded with every piece that went down the runway. But it certainly got louder with the last piece shown.

The designer took his bow of appreciation at the end with one of his daughters. Bravo b Michael for such a wonderful collection.
