DALLAS, May 2, 2005/ FW/ --- Sonia Bogner continues her dalliance with demi-couture with Bogner’s sportswear line, Bogner Woman as she combines feminine detailing with ergonomic designs.
Duvet coats in micro fiber are paired with knitted sweaters with delicate embroidery while leather is given double stitching for a more sartorial look.
Skiing has never been this glamorous as Sonia Bogner proposes bright colors such as neon green and fiery red for ski suits.
Ski jackets are quilted and trimmed with fur, while ski pants are snug fitting yet comfortable. Given a vein stitch in front, the ski pants lengthens the legs and keeps them slim looking.
And a woman does not have to stick with solid colors either while off piste. Sonia Bogner created floral printed jackets that are trimmed with fur to look more femme than ever.
Just for fun, she also added ethnic embroidery on the sleeves of the duvet-quilted jackets that are buttoned instead of zipped.
The most high-tech offering for the season – the silver Bogner ski helmet that doubles as eye protection. Ergonomically designed for least wind resistance, it is both chic and functional.
Après-ski becomes more than just a social activity after a day at the slopes. It also becomes a time to show off those beautiful V-neck shirts adorned with crystals and semi-precious stones and knitted cardigans with ethnic designs.
What more can a woman ask for?
