DALLAS, May 12, 2003/ FW/ --- If there is one place that fashion designers think the fashion flock will will do this winter is to hit the slopes.

From New York, to Milan and Paris, chic ski apparel was the order of the day.

Now that you've chosen what you will wear to keep you warm in the mountains of Vail or St. Moritz, it's time to choose the boots to protect your footsies from the snow and ice.

So, how do you choose from the wide array of boots out there?

So many shoes... so little time...

As FW was gleaning through the coming collections, we came across Bogner Sport.

With as much with and elegance as a serious winter boot will allow, Bogner Sport has fashion-forward styling with high-performance techonology.

The boots are waterproof, weather-proof and breathable - must have qualities for footwear the stand the harsh weather conditions of the slopes.

The added features of Bogner Sport boots, they have real fur, embroidery and comes in a palette of exotic colors.

The Tibet is a short boot trimmed with Mongolian lamb. Inspired by the Tibetian sherpas, the fringes are made from real fur, guaranteed to kee you warm. And of course, it looks good with those ski pants. Talk about looking hot when it is so cold.

The Garmish is a military style boot with genuine horn toggles. No need for zippers! One great thing about it, you can wear an extra pair of leg warmers because the toggles allow expansion.

There is the Sava, which looks like regular shoes. Wear it around the resort in between skiing sessions. And it can double as city shoes too, during those cold winter days.

The Nova will look good with denim and body-hugging pants. This is another pair which will look chic in the city. It's a wear anywhere, go anywhere type of boots.

There is also the Cortina, a high boot in floral printed lamb in colors like cream, black or red.

And if you are into riding, the Cosa is a sturdy black leather riding boot that brims with the unexpected - Tyrolean-style embroidered red flowers on top.

According to Daniel Chirico, COO and CFO of Bogner America, "Bogner is focusing on what the sporty, sophisticated American thinks is essential."

This new sexy, high style boot collection is high-function, yet provides serious fashion and fun.

Elegant and truly exceptional, the Bogner Sport 2003 footwear collection is destined to become the must-have accessory at ski resorts and big city streets.
