DALLAS, Dec 17, 2003/ FW/ --- Move over Tiger Woods! The ladies are coming to the links and they look good in their Bogner Luxury Golf collection.
German fashion house Bogner, known for its ski outfits, is tackling another sport this spring with the launch of the Bogner Luxury Golf Collection.
Willy Bogner, company CEO and former Olympic champion on the slopes is sharing his secret of great athletic clothes with the ladies on the link.
“This collection reflects the high standard of style, quality and function that is the Bogner signature,” says Willy Bogner about the company’s new line of clothes.
And the former Olympic champion backs up his words with deeds. For just as Bogner made the ski pants and the nylon parka the must-have sportswear item “off piste,” i.e. seriously appealing to non-skiers, Bogner is updating the fabrics, colors and cut of golf clothes just enough to give it a racy, sophisticated urban edge.
And with brave new shades like aqua, red or powder pink, playing golf has never looked more chic and sexy.
A traditional stretch cotton knit golf vest gets more playful; a skirt that swings both ways (it’s actually shorts with a front skirt panel) puts more fun in functionality.
Nothing says golf chic better than a hip, hybrid pique golf polo with contrast piping and shiny, eye-catching snaps.
Ward off chill or drizzle with the Sirius-2, a high performance golf jacket with cool colors, water resistant materials and movement to the max.
So, during the pro circuit come spring, expect the ladies to be in the swing things. After all, women have become road warriors in the game of golf with Annika Sorenstam playing the pro golf circuit.
Augusta and Hilton Head, make room for the ladies who knows how to swing… their golf club, that is.
