MILAN, Sep 27, 2004/ FW/ – Sportive and sexy, romantic and nonchalant. The Byblos female for spring summer 2005 is body conscious, tanned and healthy.
Mila Schon watched front row as the three person design team behind the young, hip and energetic label that continues to grow and mature sent out looks of optical patterning, striking stripes and gorgeous knitwear.
The lads uniquely interpret today by dressing their ladies in cashmere, mouth watering suede and handkerchief butterfly dresses made of the softest silk chiffon where patterns of leaves and floral mixed with simple optical designs dance in their sheer.
Buttons are just as essential as a blissful active attitude, whether wearing little summer shorts that are rolled and fastened, pocketed and box pleated for volume and comfort, or double breasted micro jackets, short sleeve trenches or strapless dresses that elongate the torso with belted drop waists.
In a colorful palette of yellows, pinks, oranges and emeralds that flash across basic nude tones, light knitwear is perforated and silhouettes are sensual and light hearted while accessorized with maxi bags, double buckle belts and skyscraper staggering heels.
Whether sleeves are large or long legs celebrated, the Byblos collection is a breathe of fresh air for the woman who loves the metropolis and parties by the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean or surf tossed beaches of Miami, moving easily between a hint of 1980’s fun and 21st century tongue in cheek chic, by simply being herself at all times.
