MILAN, Sep 26, 2005/ FW/ --- Romantic sensuality underlines the Byblos lady for spring summer 2006 and like a Vanessa Beecroft photograph hidden contradiction becomes modern and ultrasexy.
She wears tailored shorts, carefully chosen summer dresses and plays with pleated and drawstring volume that emphasizes her femininity. Luscious fabrics continue to make up Byblos signature patchwork and tiers of knit ruffles linger on cool dresses and tops.
Fine summer blue and white pinstripes, denim and ribbed piquè cotton are reworked into a modern wardrobe that oozes with desire for something suggestive in the sunlight.
Obi style belts and high-waisted trousers accentuate the waistline and V-neck summer baby doll tops draw attention to refined sensuality.
The casual and couture work together to produce a collection of pastels and prints, black and hints of white accessorized by round toed towering heel sabots and a touch of the military via heightened hats.
The Byblos slim silhouette is ladylike and eternal, faded by the welcomed sun and bathed in
light and fluidity.
Trousers are streamline and long hanging over heels while jackets remain shorts and cropped where buttons are precious detail.
In a play on contrast and contradiction Byblos is tender and dreamy without loosing sight of their creative resourcefulness as they mould together a collection for those yearning something unusually stylish.
