NEW YORK, Sep 18, 2006/ FW/ --- Last week at Bryant Park, as the sun set off the bronze backdrop, green floral bikinis hit the runway.

CIA Maritima is all about vacationing in high style. This bombshell Brazilian label presents the sexiest swimsuits each season. As the bronze tanned models sported Brazilian cut bottoms and supportive tops, the audience knew they were in for a rare treat.

If one's body is not as fit as Karolina Kurkova, who opened the show, Maritima has green floral muumuus to cover up imperfections. These muumuus and kaftans flowed naturally and some were more fitted and tubular.

Maritima also is bringing back the old Barbie style high-waisted one-piece suit, which is flattering to many different body types. With the juxtaposition of a dual tone one piece in white and black respectively, this suit creates a slimmer silhouette for a diverse range of body shapes.

The collection went on to showcase a beautiful mixture of florals in a chocolate, green and pink motif.

Many designers are using chocolate brown for spring summer, which is a non-traditional colour for the season. Their usage of animal print included cheetah that merged into African Kente cloth prints. This segment included black cover-ups with bustle backs in jersey fabrics.

Maritima is expressing that there is a gold rush. Chunky gold chains were splashed over swimsuits and kaftans. Hardware buckles on swimsuits were statements of opulent gaudiness.

As a breath-taking tanned Karolina wore a Venetian lace cover up, the magnificent beautiful fantasy show of Maritima concluded.
