A Toronto-native, Dominic Bellissimo studied graduated from Sheridan College. Lindzon, Ltd,
a cloth coat and leather manufacturer immediately snatched up the young college grad to be
a technical pattern grader and within a year, he became the head designer.
He launched his own label in 1989, and in 1991, he joined ITA Ltd.
"Dominic knows how to use shearling in ways no other designer can. To him, its not just
outerwear, but a versatile fabric that belongs in a modern wardrobe," commented Paul Lindzon,
president of ITA Ltd. Bellissimo is a talented designer in all respects. His forté is in outerwear, cloth coats
and leather, for both mens and ladies.
