Esteban Cortazar New York, Sep 11, 2004/ FW --- Young Esteban Cortazar never ceases to amaze his audience.

To the tune of “Let The Sunshine In,” Naomi Campbell opened the show wearing yellow suede and chiffon knee-length dress with layers of ruffles that flowed endlessly.

With his signature draping that makes the clothes as if they are barely there, the Miami-based designer fluid mini dresses and mid-calf length frocks that hugged the body, emphasizing the models’ every curve.

Choosing sorbet shades of yellow, baby blue, peach, pink, gold and white, the collection’s color palette was very upbeat and optimistic.

With the right amount of edged and plenty of sophistication, softness and eloquence, Esteban Cortazar has another winner in his hands.

But that is not the young designer’s greatest achievement this season. Considered fashion’s child prodigy when he hit the New York runways during the Spring 2003 season, Esteban Cortazar is showing a mastery of tailoring skills.

His creations this season are more sartorial, as exemplified by the bodice hugging gowns and bustier dresses. Cortazar has also found pleasure in putting intricate details such as beading and ruche.

Our young designer has certainly grown to be quite a wonderful tailor and he can only get better. And with 45 exits shown, that already says a lot.
