NEW YORK, November 21, 2002/ FW/ --- On its 7th year in the business, Lady Enyce continue to
be a commercial success.
Design trio Tony Shellman, Lando Felix and Evan Davis continue to evolve the company which
they started in 1996.
With the hip-hop crowd as its target market, the 'kids' seven years ago have grown up!
Even hip-hop music has grown up. Once part of the underground, it has also entered
mainstream.
This season, the clothes are 'more grown-up' and a little bit more sophisticated, reflecting
the change of status of its target market.
Shellman, Felix and Davis did not forget the original age of the market though - fun and
almost rebellious clothes are still around.
But there are also a lot of pieces which are a little 'more formal' in terms of hip-hop.
The design trio has proven to be savvy businessmen, a plus in this hard economic times where
older labels are closing.
Shellman, Felix and Davis were able to mix creativity with good business.
And this the secret of their continued commercial success!
