NEW YORK, Feb 8, 2004/ FW/ --- Every woman secretly wants to be a “James Bond girl” especially if you can look like Halle Berry’s “Jinx” in 007’s latest movie, “Die Another Day.”
Well, ladies, you’ve got your wish! Designer Luca Orlandi decided that women should have the chance to be sexy and alluring with a hint of danger come fall.
With his body-hugging gowns, dresses and gowns, Luca Orlandi might as well be dressing all the James Bond ladies who graced the silver screen. And the best thing about it, the looks can be translated into real life.
When Tiiu opened with a mahogany leather jacket and mahogany stretch satin roller blade pants, the audience was fairly warned that this collection is not the run-of-the-mill sexy looks.
It was uber sensual and uber alluring, Luca Orlandi’s signature style.
The long leather jackets, cashmere coats, silk blouses with shearling cuffs, and beaded tops --- all of them spelled sex appeal.
And for those sweet moments for the 007 ladies, the designer created some dainty pieces like the rose asymmetrical silk dress with Swarovski crystals.
Luca Orlandi is one of those designers whose appeal is global. It does not matter where you are geographically, whether in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas or anywhere in North America.
In fact, someone from any for the 5 continents can be a Luca Luca lady, i.e. if she wants to
be exciting, glamourous with an air of mystique around her.
