Joeffer Caoc’s ascendance in the fashion industry has been nothing short of remarkable.
Once a protégé of renowned Canadian designer Lida Baday, Caoc launched MISURA in 1995—a
designer collection of women’s ready-to-wear clothing.
MISURA is a confluence of both fashion and style, combining a forward-thinking aesthetic
with more classic elements of design.
Caoc often incorporates the juxtaposition of conflicting themes in his collections, often
doing so with a playful bend.

of the designer. His fashion show presentations have included titles "Manipulation", "Drama
Queen" and "Angel Dust".
The latter was for his Fall/Winter 2003 collection where he introduced elements of prevailing
silhouettes to revisions of vintage couture for which received a Matinee Fashion Foundation
grant.
Fall/Winter 2003, has proven to be as invigorating as years' past, but evolving his
signature style to a higher sophistication with conspicuous fabrics, eccentric tailoring
and revolutionary styling.
Joeffer Caoc's vision has garnered considerable attention and acclaim by various fashion
press and media.
MISURA BY JOEFFER CAOC has been publicized, profiled and treated to extensive features
in national and international publications including WWD, In Style, The New York Times,
Fashion and Elle Canada.
The MISURA label was recently featured on Will & Grace and has also been repeatedly
featured on numerous fashion-oriented news programs including Fashiontelevision and
Fashion File.
In addition to winning multiple fashion awards including Canadian Designer of the Year,
Caoc has been amongst Maclean's Magazine's 'Top 100 People to Watch' list and was
recently awarded the title as the "King of the Canadian Fashion Industry" by Flare Magazine.
He has also participated at the highly prestigious TEDCity conference (alongside Moishe
Safde and Frank Gehry); received with stunning accolades.
