PARIS, Jan 27, 2005/ FW/ --- ‘Preciosity’ is a combination of natural elements, stones, jewels and fibers that come together to create a distinct harmony and specific well being.
On Aura Tout Vu did what all Couturiers long to do: create. In fairytale make believe, their goddess like looks twinkle in the twilight.
The hand crafted whimsical takes shape as silver lined human dolls in white body suits parade unique pieces laden with precious stones and delicious fabrics, with each outfit representing explicit qualities, from the invincibility of diamonds, the wisdom of jade, sharp wittedness of sapphires, to the fertility of pearls.
Joy is not only visible but a feeling for this three-person design team. From harmonious sounds that send one into a new age, yet age old trance to the peaceful waves of light on the background, to the stones on the garments themselves.
Low cut, sensual and individual, ladies in painted gold, cascading pearls and embroided crystals cannot but feel divine, empowered and adorned.
A long beaded sheath dress with front embroided in lapis, crystals and pearls is destined to bring divine favors, or if in need of harmony, the intervention of quartz via a splendid silk velvet trench coat with puffed sleeves, printed with burnt quartz over a muslin shirt and baggy trousers in sparkling georgette, should be on the shopping list.
Volume mixed with rigid shape define and redefine the structure of the female silhouette, tall and alluring, while however continually paying attention to the tender, peaceful and sincere qualities of a true lady.
On Aura Tout Vu turn ancient qualities and beliefs into ‘Haute Couture’ excess and exaggeration and transform it into a magical tale of wildness.
